  As ARIS Club Members well know there are two distinct parts to punting for profit. Firstly a probable winner must be chosen. Then the correct amount must be bet on the horse. No different from the stock exchange or any other form of investment, select where you are going to invest then how much.
  
  With over 80% of regular punters showing long term losses it seems certain that many people ignore at least one or frequently both of these essential rules for operating a profitable business.
  
  ARIS offers tools to permit club members to professionally address both the selection and investment processes. These tools are not for gamblers but for people who want serious long term profits from a business venture. We can show you how to operate your business but we can't run it for you.
  
  

  BUSINESS ESSENTIALS

  If you want to run your own business there must be a firm commitment to a business plan. Knowledge, equipment, start up capital, trading hours and record keeping are considered to be essential ingredients in operating a profitable business.
  
  An ARIS Club membership provides the first two of these. The rest are your responsibility but suffice to say that adequate start up capital and a dedicated commitment to operating hours and record keeping are essential.
  
  The ARIS knowledge base will give you some idea of which one of the Longest Losing Sequence (LLS) ARIS Tables you should use. The amount of investment capital needed will be influenced by this choice. Members also are able to access guidelines on when and where to operate your business.
  
  ARIS Club members also receive a complete copy of the ARIS Tables and the ARIS Select ranking calculator. With this equipment you can quickly learn to select probable winners and bet the right amount to return steady profits.
  
  We DO NOT provide ARIS Club members with racing tips of any sort and in fact we encourage members to ignore the advice of tipsters, "late mail" and "insiders". We do publish records from time to time which are designed as a guide only and for comparison purposes with your own results.
  
  

  ARIS SELECT

  This is an easy to use spreadsheet calculator is not rocket science but operates on a very important principle. The people who really know that a horse has a good chance of winning put their money where their knowledge is. That is they place substantial bets which seriously affect the TAB forecast dividends. ARIS Select only takes the forecast win dividend into calculation.
  
  In order to obtain the best possible odds for their selected horse these high rolling professional punters place their bets in the last few seconds before the race gets under way. It is these fluctuations down to the last 30 seconds that provide the ARIS Member with their only real clue as what is likely to happen out on the track.
  
  ARIS Select allows punters to accurately calculate where the professional punters are investing the "smart money". This has proved over many years to be the best possible indication when selecting winners. Ignore the rest. It is worth noting that many TAB web sites now provide up to date MARKET MOVER screens which display fluctuations every 30 seconds.
  
  TABozbet is one of the best and ARIS Select is currently designed for use on that web site only. A future version is planned which will be capable of being used on other TAB web sites. You do NOT need a TAB account to trial ARIS.
  
  

  ARIS TABLES

  Even with the best selection method it would be unusual to select more than 40% winners. The average is possibly closer to 25%. Therefore only one in every four selections returns a dividend. So it is obvious that if an identical amount is bet on every selection (level staking) every winner must pay a dividend of better that $4.00 in order to obtain a profit. This will not happen. The only people that consistently win from level staking are racing industry insiders and ARIS is watching them.
  
  In order to compile the ARIS Tables we considered that every selection method has a Longest Losing Sequence (LLS). That is the largest number of consecutive losing bets. Therefore in order to return a profit we needed to distribute our Investment Bank over a series of bets which would cover the potential LLS and lay a winning bet.
  
  We also knew that the forecast winning dividend must be as low as possible in order to maximise the number of selections that we were able to place bets on. After much number crunching with several computers we published the ARIS Tables based on a minimum forecast dividend of $2.50. Any winner during a sequence of bets with a dividend above $2.50 returns a profit.
  
  The ARIS Tables allows you to operate Win Only, Win/Place or Place Only based on a projected LLS of from 4 - 20. Only record keeping, experience and your personal comfort zone will determine the LLS Table you use. We offer Club Members advice on LLS settings but the final choice is exclusively yours.
